PIHRA Inland Valley District Luncheon
Cal Poly Pomona PIHRA is affiliated with PIHRA District 15, or currently known as PIHRA Inland Valley. The Inland Valley location serves the East San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys. Their luncheons are typically held at the Pomona Valley Mining Company on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
They start their luncheons with a half-hour of networking, followed with announcements of current events, job openings and job seekers, and conclude with an hour-long presentation by a well-versed business expert. When they hold after-hours mixers, PIHRA Inland Valley emphasize terrific food, wine, socializing and networking. Their monthly meetings and mixers usually last two hours, though mixers are open-ended.

PIHRA is comprised of 16 community based affiliates in the Greater Los Angeles area including affiliates in Orange County, Riverside County, Ventura County and San Bernardino County. Each community affiliate is managed by a tireless group of volunteer managers who coordinate educational and social events, and are passionate about building and serving the local HR community. These communities are an excellent networking venue, and provide forums to learn about and discuss human resource management issues and advocacy from the local, state, and national perspective. Each of the 16 locations meet monthly for breakfast or lunch with a speaker on HR issues.
