President: The President is responsible for leading the executive board in the planning, communication, execution, and measuring of the academic year. Additionally, the president is responsible for maintaining UBSS representative duties that include attending all UBSS meetings, attending CORE workshops, and submitting the club/organization’s budget with the treasurer.
Vice President: The VP for PIHRA assists the President in oversight of the E-Board's tasks and duties while ensuring the CPP PIHRA Student Chapter fulfills our requirements for Chapter Awards.
Treasurer: The treasurer oversees all of PIHRA’s finances. This includes proper allocation of the budget, planning all the logistics of events, and turning in documents to ASI to get approved for reimbursement requests, purchase orders, and travel documents. This includes working closely with the membership coordinator for membership swag bags.
Outreach Coordinator: The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for scheduling all the guest speakers and workshops for the general meetings. The Outreach Coordinator will also work closely with the Programming Coordinator to plan socials and charity events. The Outreach Coordinator is also in charge of the Master Calendar for all PIHRA activities per semester. Additionally, the Outreach Coordinator will attend the monthly HRSA (Human Resources Student Alliance) meetings to build relationships with other HR clubs from different schools.
Programming Coordinator: As the Programming Coordinator, you are responsible for booking meeting rooms such as the E-Board meeting room and General meeting room, completing club fair forms, requesting food permits, and turning in travel forms on 25live. Furthermore, the Programming Coordinator will assist with planning socials and events. It is mandatory that the Programming Coordinator attend the CORE workshops and the UBSS meetings if the Treasurer and President are unable to do so.
Membership Coordinator: The membership coordinator is accountable for creating the membership application and keeping track of all members and paid members in conjunction with the treasurer. Along with keeping track of the paid PIHRA members the membership coordinator needs to ensure they keep track of all paid SHRM members as well. The membership also is responsible for creating and designing the swag bags, merchandise (t-shirts and sweaters) along with the coordination and creating of the stoles for graduating members.
Recruiter: The recruiter is accountable for looking up all MHR classes and supporting the recruitment of new members and new e-board members. The recruitment of members is a semester task done at the beginning of each semester. The recruitment of e-board is done yearly at the end of each academic school year. The recruiter is also accountable for getting the applications together for both e-board and the SHRM case competition. Once all applications are in the recruiter will schedule interviews with all candidates and the current e-board. All interviews and offer letters will be drafted and sent by the recruiter.
Alumni Coordinator: The Alumni Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining a professional network with Cal Poly PIHRA Alumni. The duty of the Alumni Coordinator is to assist Executive Board Members with maintaining a record of past PIHRA members, and coordinate the yearly Alumni Day. They are also responsible for creating and maintaining a relationship with the CBA Alumni Chapter.
Career Development Coordinator: The Career Development Coordinator is responsible for teaching our members to brand themselves to become professionals in the workplace. I am the account manager for CPP PIHRA’s LinkedIn page where I will create weekly content and support members through career resources and job opportunities. During the year I will plan and execute workshops as well as be the host of any professional panel events.
Public Relations: As the PR coordinator for PIHRA, I am responsible for creating and promoting fliers for events and meetings, managing our organization’s presence on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, and maintaining positive relationships between members and our organization by responding to comments and messages etc.
Executive Administrator: A glimpse of the Executive Administrator consists of compiling E-board documents for meetings, developing weekly emails, maintaining website, publishing weekly blog, and overall assisting other e-board members when asked.
