Hi Broncos, Last week, our club had the opportunity to host an engaging “Resume Workshop” during our general meeting. We were excited to welcome our guest speaker, Beth Lee, who shared valuable tips and strategies to help members strengthen and elevate their resumes. Attendees learned how to effectively highlight their skills and experiences, whether they are preparing for internships, part-time roles, or full-time opportunities. Overall, the workshop provided practical guidance on how to stand out to employers and was a great learning experience for everyone who participated!

Hi Broncos, Last week, PIHRA proudly hosted an engaging and insightful “Alumni Day” workshop featuring special guest speakers Amy Liu and Martha Aguila. Our alumni shared their post-graduation journeys, offering valuable perspectives on navigating career paths and building success in the field of Human Resources. Members had the opportunity to gain practical advice, learn from real-world experiences, and connect with accomplished professionals who once stood in their shoes.Thank you to everyone who attended and we look forward to seeing you all soon!  Hi Broncos, PIHRA and NSLS hosted a fun and refreshing Picnic Social event, giving students a chance to unwind just before Spring Break. Attendees enjoyed a relaxing midday filled with great food, interactive games, and plenty of laughter. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for members to connect with one another, build new friendships, and take a well deserved break from their busy schedules.  This past Thursday, PIHRA hosted an engaging “Alumni Day” workshop featuring special guest speaker Nolan Mariano. Members had the opportunity to hear Nolan share his journey after graduation and reflect on his experiences building a successful career in Human Resources. Throughout the meeting, he offered practical insights, valuable advice, and real-world perspectives that resonated with students preparing to enter the field. Members also had the chance to connect with an experienced professional and gain a deeper understanding of career pathways in HR.  This past Thursday, PIHRA had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Michael Caliguiri for an insightful workshop titled “Queer Identity in Management.” During the session, members explored the importance of understanding queer identities in professional spaces and discussed ways to recognize and navigate potential workplace red flags.We thank Dr. Caliguiri for sharing his knowledge and experiences, and we appreciate everyone who attended and contributed to such an engaging discussion.  This week, PIHRA hosted an engaging Networking Opportunities Workshop featuring special guest speaker Marissa Mobley. Members had the opportunity to gain valuable insights on networking and professional growth while learning practical strategies to help advance their careers. The event provided a great space for students to connect, ask questions, and expand their understanding of professional opportunities. Thank you to everyone who attended, and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!  This past Thursday, Dr. Steve Guo, shared valuable insights about the CPP MSHRL program, including key benefits, opportunities, and what students can expect from the graduate experience.Members had the opportunity to learn more about advancing their education in human resources, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of this exciting academic pathway.Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in this engaging and informative meeting!  Last Thursday, members joined us for our first General Meeting of the Spring semester hosted by PIHRA! Attendees enjoyed a fun and creative Bingo card-making activity, connected with new friends, and shared great food during U-Hour. Thank you to everyone who came out, we loved kicking off the semester with you and look forward to an exciting term ahead!  Hi everyone! Last Thursday, PIHRA had the privilege of spreading positivity by creating awesome letters for the kids of ST.
